A new public-private joint venture has been formed to invest in and operate Bahrain International Airport’s food and beverage (F&B) outlets. Called SSP Bahrain, the joint venture (JV) is made up of Gulf Air Group Holding, the owner of all aviation assets of Bahrain’s sovereign wealth fund Mumtalakat, the Buhindi Group and SSP, an operator of F&B concessions in travel locations.
Zhukovsky Airport plans to expand terminal by end of 2020
Ramport Aero, the Zhukovsky Airport management company plans to announce a tender for the expansion project of the passenger terminal, by the end of 2020, the terminal area should increase from 17 000 to 37 000 square meters, the company said on Thursday in a statement.
«In accordance with the master development plan of the airport near Moscow, by the end of 2020 the passenger terminal area is to increase from the current 17 000 to 37 000 square meters. The capacity of the updated infrastructure will be 6 million passengers per year,» the statement said. The airport also has plans to install boarding bridges by 2020.
The Zhukovsky Airport was opened in May 2016, there are plans to increase its terminal capacity to 12 million people per year by 2020.

Bulgaria has extended the deadline for submitting bids to run Sofia airport for a second time, to Jan. 29, after numerous requests for clarification about the concession contract, a transport ministry spokesman said on Wednesday, reports Rueters.

Aéroports de Paris SA: October 2018 traffic figures
In October 2018, Paris Aéroport welcomed 9.4 million passengers, an increase of 6.0% compared with October 2017. 6.4 million passengers travelled through Paris-Charles de Gaulle (+5.7%) and 3.0 million through Paris-Orly (+6.7%).
- International traffic (excluding Europe) has increased (+7.9%), due to growth in all destinations: North America (+12.3%), the French Overseas Territories (+12.2%), Asia-Pacific (+10.0%), Latin America (+6.8%), the Middle East (+4.0%) and Africa (+3.6%);
- European traffic (excluding France) was up by 6.1%;
- Traffic within France was up by 1.3%;
- Since the beginning of the year, Paris Aéroport passenger traffic has increased by 3.7%, with a total of 89.4 million passengers.
Passenger traffic at TAV Airports, 46.1%-owned by Groupe ADP, increased by 37.8% in October 2018 and by 35.9% since the beginning of the year, including, from May 2018, traffic of Antalya airport, in which TAV Airports took a stake.
Passenger traffic at Santiago de Chile Airport, 45%-owned by Groupe ADP, increased by 5.6% in October 2018 and by 8.5% since the beginning of the year.
Passenger traffic at Amman Airport, 51%-owned by Groupe ADP, increased by 9.2% in October 2018 and by 5.8% since the beginning of the year.
